School Programs

Coronado has one of the most colorful, interesting histories of any community in the State of California, and Coronado and regional San Diego school children have an opportunity to learn about it.

Third Grade Program ›

The Coronado Historical Association works with all third-grade Coronado classrooms to provide a multi-session engaging program that meets the California State Standards for studying 3rd grade Social Studies. The program has been made possible by donations from Leslie and Don Budinger, Phyllis Kraus, Mary Gilliland, Coronado Rotary, Coronado Optimists, and an anonymous donor whose children were once 3rd graders in Coronado schools.


The Coronado Historical Association's Education Department offers the following programs to educators, homeschool students, parochial and private schools, and youth/Scout groups:
