In addition to Annual Fund and outright gifts, donors may also make a "planned gift." Planned gifts allow you to benefit from tax benefits and capital gains, plus provide for your surviving beneficiary and ensure your family's future financial needs. Planned gifts can be revocable or irrevocable, depending on how they are set up. Certain planned giving vehicles enable you to receive a lifetime income from the asset given in the Coronado Historical Association's name. A planned gift can include a bequest, a gift of real estate/appreciated property, life insurance, a charitable remainder annuity trust, charitable remainder unitrust, charitable lead trust, retirement plan gift or charitable gift annuity.
