    Spreckels FamilyThe Spreckels Society

Perhaps no other individual has made as significant an impact on Coronado as John D. Spreckels. A man of vision and great resources, his legacy remains visible today in our tiny seaside community through his business ventures and acts of philanthropy.

To honor this Coronado pioneer, CHA formed the Spreckels Society. This prestigious patrons group is comprised of citizens who generously support the Association by demonstrating a serious commitment to the Museum and all that it embodies.
